You're a star!!

Hey my darling!!!

When we dropped you off at school this morning your first grade teacher (well one of them) rushed out to tell us how proud she was of you. She said you're growing into an independent little girl and shes proud of you finding your feet.. And that you're a valuable treasure to their little classroom..

So today you received a "star certificate"

I'm so proud of you my darling, but I'm proud of regardless.. Just extra proud today

Love you forever my star!!

Link sharing: 4 Lessons I Wish Every Mom Taught Her Daughter

Salam My baby,

I wish I had of thought of these myself but sharing this beautiful video
4 Lessons I Wish Every Mom Taught Her Daughter .. my thoughts exactly for you

In case this link ever dies:

Being a woman nowadays is probably the most exciting and challenging time.
I want you to know that being beautiful doesn't necessarily mean you always like what you see when you look in the mirror.
I've felt horrible about the way I've looked.
And it's not about living up to society's ideals or looking like a super model.
People are telling you already that your body has to look a certain way and you're only 6.
That is not true at all.
Your body is beautiful.
Love it and respect it no matter what shape or size it comes in.
Own it.
When you are comfortable on your own skin, people feel that.
Because when you feel good about yourself, you feel good about the world around you.
Life, it's beautiful, beautiful. However, it's not easy.
I don't want you to be afraid to make mistakes.
Sometimes you won't succeed.
What really matters is what you do next.
This is your opportunity to rise to the occasion.
I want you to be vulnerable.
Whatever your heart guides you and takes you to do, you can and should do.
I don't want you to be afraid of anything.
If someone tells you you can't do something, especially a boy...
...because you are a girl...
Fight against it.
Being a woman doesn't mean you have to be passive.
Don't let anything hold you back.
Go with what you like and, you know, ignore the haters.
You cannot let anybody get in the way or try to cloud your judgment of who you really are.
Always surround yourself with genuine people.
People who inspire you.
Who are not afraid to make fun of themselves.
Let yourself love.
Love isn't about receiving but it's about giving.
I love you the way you are.
I love you so much.
I love you.
I love you.
You are the love of my life and I love you to bits.

Dear Aysha

Dear Aysha,
My darling baby girl..

I don't think you will ever understand my love for you, but that's OK I love you with my whole heart and I love you regardless.

You're 5 years old now.. We made it!! I know we have our struggles baby girl but I am truly proud of who you are and who you are becoming. You are a strong, sensitive, confident (but shy when appropriate), smart and incredible little girl. We have been through so much and your strength is inspiring.

I really really wanted to be a mum, and I am so blessed that Allah gave me you. I still remember the morning I found out I was pregnant, it was exciting & scary. I remember meeting you for the first time on a scan, you were a tiny jellybean. I remember your first kick when you heard your daddy's voice, and our 20 week scan when we found out you could possibly be a girl lol.. And I remember the day I met you, it was honestly love at first sight I held you in my arms and we were both just taking each other in.

Your dad named you Aysha because he had this name chosen for as long as he could remember, he told me when he was a boy he always said he would name his first daughter Aysha.. I added May because I also have this name, we are named after my Nana, a very strong incredible Lady. Tahir is your daddy's name so its just means the daughter of Tahir. Side note: Tahir means pure. Aysha, I believe means Life.

You were such a treasure as a baby, very chilled and happy but also stubborn and shy. Everyone mentioned how beautiful you were as you had very big blue eyes..  As you grew into being a toddler you brought us so much joy with your cheekiness and fesrlessness , you have always been brave and confident.. At three years of age you started kindergarten, something I found difficult but you thrived there and really came out of your shell.

Now you are five my darling, a big school girl. I think you're still only settling in and I know we're going through a lot of changes so life is tough. But I love you and I know we're get through this together.

This blog is for you my baby (who doesn't like being called baby anymore).. I will share our day to day life, your milestones and achievements and I want to share wisdom on life, all sorts of topics and I hope I show you that I truly and deeply love you and only want the best for you.

Love you darling
